Software Team Leader, Development Systems - Maidenhead
Software Team Leader fluent in C*C++ with 8+ years of software development experience, required for leading provider of 16*32-bit embedded microprocessor solutions in Maidenhead. You must have extensive experience of developing embedded software debugging tools or an IDE, some exposure to Java, a good understanding and experience of cross platform GUI development, and an understanding of GUI standards*look and feel. You must also be able to demonstrate clear team leadership skills, a clear knowledge of development and validation processes, and be able to work in and contribute to a technically challenging environment. You should also have experience of the application space, supporting legacy code, and producing or extending a componentised, user extensible application framework. Previous experience of direct customer contact, and working with third parties and sub-contractors also an advantage. Working closely with other technical leads, you will be responsible for recruiting and leading a user interface development team (UI & GUI). This position is a key leadership and development role. This is a technical "hands-on" role and the successful candidate should expect to be writing development software in addition to line managing members of the team. This role will involve occasional travel to the other development sites within the UK and USA.
